CONSULT

PHASE 1

We begin the brand identity process with a phone call and subsequent brand questionaire to dive deep into your brand’s foundation. I will then summarize this information in a PDF, including a mood board and color palette for your new identity. This ensures that we stay on target with your intention prior to starting Phase 2.

DESIGN

PHASE 2

The adventure begins! Using the insights we gained from Phase 1, I’ll get to work on your branding concepts. You’ll receive 6-8 black and white logos of which you’ll choose 1-2 to pursue. We’ll fine tune and finesse 1-2 more rounds. Once we’ve nailed down a graphic, we’ll move on to color. Until finally, the perfect mark is achieved. You’ll then receive all aspects of your new identity – primary and secondary logos, fonts, textures/patterns, and a color palette.

LAUNCH

PHASE 3

Now that we have all elements of your new identity, I’ll design the collateral pieces of your choice—website, flyer template, social media graphics & launch strategy, investor pitch deck. Whatever you need to market your business to the world.

You’ll be an integral part of the design process. And at the end will be all set to LAUNCH your new amazing brand!

CASE STUDY:
BRAND REFRESH

Lyf Gildersleeve, owner of Portland’s beloved Flying Fish Co. restaurant, is known for his commitment to sustainable seafood, delicious food and high vibes. For his latest venture—Frying Fish Co.—a new food truck in his hometown of Sandpoint, ID, he wanted to update his brand by changing one letter in his current logo.

He sent me the original logo which felt unfinished.

I saw an opportunity to refine the brand:

1: The fish felt is floating in space with no structure or depth.

2: The color scheme is dark and flat. Lyf’s personality is upbeat—he loves making delicious food that makes people happy.

What I did:

  • Added circular frame to create a container

  • Added a grounding line for structure/depth

  • Removed “Co.” to free up space and make “Frying Fish” more prominent

  • Refreshed the color palette with bright, fun, ocean-inspired colors

  • Cleaned up the typography for a more polished look
